At first, I thought this was a personal essay some kind, but the twist of the therapy session at the end was actually a pretty interesting reframing of the narrative.
I feel that the story might rely a bit too much on external references, but it's not ultimately a bad thing depending on how it'll connect going forward. I only bring this up because people's emotional reactions maybe limited if they don't recognize the creators brought up for example.
Otherwise, splitting up some of the bigger paragraphs might help in making the story a little less intimidating on the page, but it's not a damning complaint by any means.
