This is kind of reminding me of Haru and Kasumi's first date lol, with Haru's head always being in the cloud. Though I wouldn't say it's the same, it just shows how Haru's perspective have shifted.

I actually had to go back and add narration into the chap once before lol. The paragraph right after the first dialogue indicates it without any metaphor: “looks like i got punched so hard my brain sent me back to my middle school days.“

just a fast forward into John's perspective lol. I felt like there wasn't a need to write the exposition and so just left it at that.
I kept it subtle because the details of what Stan and Kiri was about to do was also a mystery lol. I'll just say that John is in the bathroom right now.
The love for their homies that these dudes have. Looks like Brandon have a love story of his own, and his boy Tony is all for it.
When Tony scared off the girls the first time I guess it was already hinting at his reasons lol. I wonder what it is, perhaps he just want the captain to focus on basketball more lol. Or that Brandon isn't into girls?
