Liking the tension here, enjoyed Jace's power of observation about how the werewolves moved with one another.
The inside of this palace has to be super bright since Jace might just be shining all the time. I like these descriptions.

I don't think you missed anything. I had originally put more hints in earlier chapters but it didn't feel necessary since I explain what's happening in the first few paragraphs of the next chapter anyway.
I liked the use of the screenplay as the frame narrative. ^^
