Also seeing Izanami portrayed as evil is an interesting twist 🤣 Considering Izanami's tale with Izanagi is also one where her husband/brother tried to save her from the underworld. But I'm pretty sure Izanagi then fails to save her. Due to a pomegranate thing. Which is surprisingly similar to the Greek myth with Persephone and--

Oh man that line of "Asterion hadn't considered Daffodil a real person" like, I know how it sounds out of context, but I also know EXACTLY that feeling. I used to have a ton of 'friends' on MMOs like MapleStory and WoW back in my young days 🤣 and I never really imagined meeting them in person. We didn't talk about personal lives, so they just existed in-game and were gone once the computer was off. If I met one of them on the street IRL, I might have panicked and run away.

Honestly Asterion is taking this in stride. He's realizing he's Asterion now. And he's worthy of love (well he always was, but now he feels more worthy at least.) The question is, does Asterion want that romance? 😉

Yelling chapter!!! 🤣 Sometimes it's just good to get those emotions out!

And yeah, I wanted to touch on the topic of parenting without going to far into it (just because to do that topic justice, I'd really need to do a deeper dive than this.) Roki/Jun being from a not-super-mentally-healthy home life was always a part of his character, to explain why he tried to act impulsive and always lead in the relationship. So a part of his growth is him learning to accept help, and listen to others' advice, instead of just steamrolling ahead 😂 I feel like Mia and Jun actually relate more because of their family lives, than Jun ever did with Amamiya. (But Jun used Amamiya's stable supportive family as an escape from his own. Which made the breakup even worse, because he didn't just lose a girlfriend...but also her family that he'd come to consider almost his own.)

But okay before I go to in depth on that 🤣 (because a lot of their backgrounds won't come up in story.) Parenting is hard. Humaning is difficult. We all doing our best but man sometimes if our parents don't prepare us for this crap 😂 that's why sometimes, you have to tell those frustrations at bamboo!

Ooh!! Yes! Always excited for more elves #ElfGang 🧝‍♀️ And also really liking the way you've brought in Yuuma's work anxiety as a parallel to the judgements he feels here in this world! I'm excited to watch him grow and change, as he works through those struggles ❤️ (Well, after figuring out somewhere more stable to live first 🤣 I wonder how long Celicia's dad will put up with Yuuma crashing in the workshop?) The concept of "otherworlders" being a known thing here is also a unique take, that puts a little different spin on the Isekai!!

The one thing I would say is that this chapter was a whole big ol' sandwich of story juiciness 🤣🥪 But you might consider splitting in half at one of your story break spots!! Since for the competition, the chapters are supposed to be around 1,000 ~ 1,500 words, and I think this is about double that? 🤔 So you might want to make this into two chapters 😁

LETSGOOOO 🎉💃👏 we finally got the dance partners RIGHT this time!!!! WHOOP WHOOP

And yes, I consider Jun and Toren also possibly "right" dance partners 👀 for the secret route. You know shojo anime roses and sparkly bubbles just suddenly appeared behind them out of nowhere for that one moment.

FIREWORKS!!!! 🎆 I know a lot of stories have done fireworks at festivals, so I wanted to put my own twist on the old classic 😉 because magic fireworks under a colorful moon? Man I'd love to see that in person!!! 🤩
(Going to do my best with the art 🤣 it was supposed to just be smol art for the scene and then I got into the painting the background and well...fireworks are harder to draw than I thought 😅 going to work on it some more tonight!!)
