Doyle's rocking range is a parody of Dillon's rolling Western on the Nintendo 3DS eshop. Since the first two games take place in the west, I thought it'd be fitting to have Crowboy play the game while advertising prickly pears.

So Ren is now Kiss. Funnily enough, there is a male character named Kiss in the manga, Beet the Vandel Buster, so no need for Ren to feel bad about his new name. (Hopefully Ren ends up becoming the cooler Kiss).

Now for Leona's father. He's very paranoid about losing his status. He only sent the text once he saw an ad for Leona's merch via Kagemart's Zitter account. He won't have a large presence in the story though.

Yeah, though Crowboy never would have gotten the chance to reunite with his father like this if he hadn't improved his relationship with his mother. Crowboy's father is a sly businessman that seeks to make enough money to bring a smile to his wife's face and give her a better lifestyle. He first met her at work, and wished to make her smile after hearing about her life circumstances. Thus he put in the work to secure a high paying job at a good company. His business sense rivals Kageyama's which is why he's always abroad and expanding his company's influence. He'll have much more involvement in the story going forward.

I figured that since their ears also get covered up during a head cast, they probably wouldn't be able to hear the game as well.
(As for what they drew, I think at the very least I'll update the emote art to include the drawn on faces, though I might attempt to create the full scene.)
As for Papa-crow, he's a businessman with a stable overseas job at a large company. As for whether or not he's a gamer, that question will be revealed in the next chapter.😉

I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. Like the one focusing on Mukuro's mother, this was also one of the chapters I really wanted to get right.
As for grandpa, I wanted to make him a fun and supportive character with a realistic backstory. He'll be around a lot more, now that he has an apprentice. As for why his toys are so acclaimed, each toy he makes features a unique gimmick. For example, the blue bear can store something roughly the size of a wallet inbetween its arms.
