Now, I'm left wondering how the scientist inhabited Dolly's body. And there's the question of who exactly is Dolly? Is her mind actually the same as the scientist or is she an entity that is separate from it and tries to reject it. The concept of identity could definitely be fleshed out a lot more at this point. Something that would be interesting to see regardless of how it plays out.
It was a nice twist though, if a little overused. The finding out that you are the very evil that you are seeking is somewhat of a trope, but don't mind me. That's just the mind of someone that was watched 1000+ anime talking.
But in the context of how the story plays out, it's suitable. And it gets the job done with Runo's motivation. Though, I can't help but feel that there should be more to it than just that. Maybe that will get revealed more later on. Strange to think that Runo would need all these absorbed abilities, when he could simply trick her as he has done.
