I loved the idea of these characters like Erosc and Echo, who are the badasses of the party, still being 100% comfortable just dancing with their comrades for the sake of the moment. and yep I knew an orgy might be over the top for Sayane and Azag’s first “moment”, but in the context of the story it somehow felt the most appropriate. I actually didn’t think it would be that way. at first, in my outline, Deflowred came before Unbroken, and then they slept together afterwards on the night before the final battle. but Anahita and the Akna got refined as I wrote and it all kind of grew into this final product. shout out to Azag for being down for whatever and not being embarrassed. it’s a very big moment for him too, and shows he’s the kind of trusting, confident partner that is more than willing to put himself out there. and shout out Sayane. what a woman.
