I second Bubbles’s comments. We’re being thrown into the action and are kind of just expected to side with Reina and squad because the CODA are bad. I’d also say spend more time explaining what the music is like. You describe all of the action details around the music, even down to the ground and buildings cracking, but the music/song itself is very vague to me. Good descriptions of other moments though, such as the group harmony and the CODA charge. It could just be boosted a little more if there was more emotional investment and clarity.

interesting how Reina’s singing is presented! more just raw harmonies than lyrics. I think there is a little bit too much explanation in some parts that could be better shown va straightforward explained. like how the D-Mics are relics of a time gone, etc. not bad or anything, just my opinion!
also, curious: the creatures being named CODA. is that a reference so soundlessness? here in the states, CODA is actually the abbreviation for Children Of Deaf Adults. was curious if that was an inspiration.
