I don't believe my writing has anything professional feel but thank you for the compliment!
Indeed, Yui's daydreams and reality are messing up her state of mind, which is something that will be explored with much more detail once the story reaches the present. I'm glad it's making you question things!
This story is pretty much non-linear, so many jumps will be made. At first, I was afraid it could confuse the reader since in the present the characters will mention things that haven't taken place in the past yet. Glad I'm keeping the structure right, gotta do my best! I'm looking forward to what you do it in one of your novels! Once you start it's really fun!
Glad you like Yui. I did fear she would come as very tragic at first, however, she does have some personality even if her self-esteem and perception of herself isn't healthy nor the best one. She will grow alongside the story. Sometimes MC's can be dislikable honestly, so I'm super happy she didn't fall into that category!
Take your time, as I always say, the story isn't going anywhere! Thank you for your comment and you're good at them!
