This chapter was longer than usual, and that I enjoyed! I'm liking Jayden more and more due to being straight to the point and still having this mysterious aura around him that makes a wall between others and himself.
This was a nice, unexpected update! I like the direction this short story is taking, and the imagery was really nice. Ryuhei intrigues me a lot, as well as his motivations and how he was introduced with the other characters.
Poor DarkFlameLord, he was the only level headed of the bunch. This was quite an interesting breath of air, Diesel being the one chased instead!
Eden is amazing, that fire scene? Superb. Now Crystal? Double the greatness.
Now onto the fight itself, I always find it amazing when others do fight scenes, and I have high respect. It takes lots of talent, and it simply blew me away. I felt I was there watching it the whole time and feeling the pressure, plus being at the edge of my seat! I'm in a loss for words but so far you have done an incredible job!
I'm sure that article will come super in handy later. I'm surprised with this different narrative style you deliver here, in contrast to Avalon. It's very good so far, and I like that the lore you are dropping here and there doesn't feel out of place nor mismatched. Yes, this is a third-person POV but I could perfectly follow the flow of conversation even if as a reader I knew very little about the topics. In fact, it makes it more interesting that way!

Glad this one was a breeze, even if it had exposition and introduction to some parts of the lore and worldbuilding itself. Yui just got accidentally involved in all of this, so taking the Rose by force was option number two, of course, Yui would prefer to stay alive than to be killed by a random magic boy, haha. Glad that scene was realistic, that was the feeling I was trying to achieve!

Yeah, this Volume suffers a lot from slow pacing at the start due to being an introduction to mainly everything. I don't like making an exposition wall or just throwing knowledge out of the blue, everything should come in its due time!

Yess, you can feel his growth is there, small, but it's there! And I'm all in for character development in small portions.
In the end, I do feel it's a pretty selfish "miracle" to do that. However, it does the message of accepting the others and do your best to don't mind what others think. The growth thematic was present, as well as change. Not all stories need to have a happy ending, and yours is open for interpretation, which I enjoyed a lot. Good work!
Lia Content!!!!!!! I'm so glad she became an apprentice as well, of course in a totally different fashion. The battle sequence was great as well, everything flowed nicely and felt like a flower dance. It's amusing though how Lia will go to a different style of instructor while Sam is with Liena who is.... pretty unique, haha.
Don't apologise for writing a SS! This adds more to your novel itself, and I don't consider it sidetracking at all, in fact, it was great to see how Ceatha's world is, given we have seen the real world this whole time, being this SS as well a glimpse of the past before the marriage.
