I originally wanted to to a Canadarm2 catch. It would be a nice bit of parallelism with the prologue, where it nearly killed Hina. But it turned out to be too impractical. It’s limited range and speed, plus the requirement that she come to a gradual stop instead of an abrupt one, spoiled the idea.
