Dang. Ash finished first, even as I was trying to sneak reading during work.
I agree though, it was a really sweet chapter. I hesitate to say it was my favorite, because it's been a while since I read the early parts of the book and because I know you've rewritten parts that I haven't read yet. Plus, there were some other really cute moments.
Initially, I was kinda worried that it was gonna be a bit too much narrative introspection, but I wasn't bored at all reading through it, and it was the best _queer_ introspection I remember in the book at all. So yeah, I really liked this chapter.
Though I can't help but wonder about the possibilities if Sayuri had figured Asami's "sickness" out on her own. I think there's a lot of potential for comedy and sweet, messy emotions there.
At some point I'll go back and re-read the stuff that got changed. I don't think there's any point repeating my critiques here, because I think you know what they are already, and some of them may have been addressed.
I will say, however, fuck Anna and Takuya though.
And thanks for being patient with me as I've sometimes been a bit trollish. I didn't expect you to actually post the train picture, but I appreciate that you did. I hope you took it in good humor.
