Yeah the whole Agnes and Ori’s conversation was a bruh moment, both in-narrative and plot development-wise. It’s unnecessary drama for the sake of creating tension while they could have just talked things out (especially if it’s concerning the boy they both like), and from their development in the previous chapters that *should* have happened

Tbh, the “Stars of Aoba” ending wasn’t what I’ve had in mind at first. I actually planned for the end to be Tanaka having thought about his goals and aspirations and then refusing the offer, but in the end I decided against that because it would limit expanding the story by quite a bit, and ended up with this version (basically switching the previous chapter with this one). This gives a more light-hearted feel though, and it’s a group shot chapter so I’m happy with what I have :)

Yup, this pretty much confirmed that what Ai saw and wanted from Kiro wasn't love; it was kinship. For her, seeing the only one who she could relate to slowly drift away was something unacceptable, further solidifying the parallel between our two main leads.
Now we wait for the Ai/Kiro villain arc.
I'm still on the camp of Sakira being a full-fledged ally (or even perhaps the only ally) in the future, and this chapter only sets me firmer on the idea
