Fair enough; I personally find writing sports a lot harder than drawing/animating sports because of a lack of visual tools (probably also why sports LNs aren’t popular afaik), and sports media in itself need a certain level of understanding of the sport itself from the start. Regular sports manga or anime kind of circumvents this by having an “info dump” chapter/episode on how to actually play, but we don’t see it here in RBC because ultimately this isn’t about football and having that kind of chapter would probably break the pacing a lot - that one’s already a bit of a problem running throughout the story

For Ryuuro’s case, yes and no. He did appear in Peters’ Crosses, but his role is in multiple (aka all) of my works.

As for Ryuuhan, no. *This* Ryuuhan is the commander who appeared in the end of RBC’s volume 1, not to be confused with the Ryuuhan in Peters’ Crosses (pay attention to their last names - “Mutsu” for RBC’s Ryuuhan, “Ichi” for Peters’ Crosses’s Ryuuhan). As with the case of Lucy and Jack, the fact that they share names do matter, but not explained right now

Another fun fact: in the fantasy soccer match against Mike, the in-universe number 2 to Leo/Messeo’s number 1 has the same name formula (Christopher Roland - Cristiano Ronaldo and Christopher Nolan)

Mostly yes. Debuting at the start of volume 2, Messeo is largely based on Lionel Messi, while the name is a mix of Messi and Leonardo DiCaprio (which explains his acting skills throughout the entire volume xD)

A bit of update on my status because there’s no notice function on the page and I don’t wanna make an entire chapter just to do that:

Red-Black Course will continue as schedule, with volume 2’s finale being next Thursday. However, Little Red Riding Witch will enter an undefined time of hiatus because my computer broke down and I ran out of backlog to refill (whereas with RBC everything is already written and put up on HF, just not published entirely). In the meanwhile, I hope you’ll enjoy the final few chapters of RBC for now, and stay tune for volume 2’s finale next week :)
