Jokingly referred to as “pog city”, this one’s a pretty pleasant read through and through. To me, Podzemgrad’s biggest strength is the settings you’ve given the world - I have my fair share of gripe against most cyberpunk entries that almost none of them truly capture the “cyberpunk” feel, but Podzemgrad is pretty much the best in terms of nailing that vibe. Reading through the story, I can almost imagine what a cyberpunk would be, with all its high-tech, low-life, dark alley chase between a rebellious side and the upper echelons of the corrupted society.
A weakness of it, however, I feel comes down to the cast. You’ve crafted yourself a rich ensemble of characters, but sadly I feel that with the time remaining you couldn’t make the most use for them, leading to cases where I struggle to keep up with who’s who. But then again, it’s a sacrifice needed to make it to the finish line, so I wouldn’t dwell on it too much.
In the end, Podzemgrad’s still a strong entry to me, purely because of the fact that its setting fit more than most of the others I’ve read.
