I'm so sorry, but when they said that Neil didn't look too good followed by him tumbling into darkness, I imagined him getting Thanos snap'd.

Otherwise, I liked the stillness that you apply to the other parts of this chapter. Really suspends the reader into this sort of thought provoking and self-reflecting essence.
