For me at least, I'm definitely prioritizing new content and trying to keep on schedule. I've fixed minor changes here and there (typos, a few details I actually already ended up contradicting 🤣) But I don't intend to make any major rewrites unless I totally flub something in my logic.
(Ex: One chapter I say my main character is allergic to apples, and thus he avoids eating a poison apple. But then a few chapters later I have a whole apple cider tasting contest that the MC has to participate in, and he does so happily. Whoops. Now I gotta rewrite one of those scenes, because they're both plot relevant and can't just be cut out.)
But in the case like this where this scene is cute, but doesn't suuuper impact the plot, I'd leave it as-is for now and fix it at the end or when you have time!
And yeah, if you wanna bounce any ideas off me let me know! I'm new to writing light novel formats, but I've been writing fiction for uh...longer than I'd like to admit. I'm by no means a professor though! 🤣 So if my feedback ever seems to be hindering rather than helping, just put it aside and don't worry about it!
