I like that our mind-borrowing newcomer (who is not yet named) is taking this calmly, rationally, and really trying to handle the situation (suggesting even a transfer to a death row inmate! Already on top of problem solving!) It's a refreshing approach compared to most anime protags freaking out (or immediately falling into said sister's beautiful bosom 🤦‍♀️) Really, I'm enjoying this direction you've taken so far!
The ending had me laughing 🤣 I was not expecting the language understanding to wear off when Olsen did!!

I am reminded of firing 500 bomb arrows while using the "save and reload mid-cutscene to become invincible" glitch in Breath of the Wild, just to explode poor Link into oblivion to sequence break into high locations 🤣 okay, that's just the most recent example I could recall. Chairs in half-life probably the OG.
Jason got that fluctuating luck stat. Seeing Alice near-naked? +1 luck. Shot by camping snipers. -1 luck. He's still sitting at 0 🤣

I actually like that Ken is quite forward, but he's honest that he finds Mikawa cute and he seems to really like her? Whereas Mikawa is a bit shy, but also flattered that someone would ask her out. I think they could have some cute chemistry together!

A few paragraph breaks here and there would help make things a bit easier to read ☺️ right now it is a long paragraph, but if you broke it up a bit that would really help!!

I like that you changed the narrative from retelling the story in dialogue, to showing the live action of the flashback! It really is the "show, don't tell" kind of principle in play here!

Oh man getting ready to go out to a restaurant with someone you just met, and someone who you're probably slightly attracted to? Absolute nightmare of nerves. Jimmy is handling it surprisingly well!

Aww Jimmy you were doing so well! But yeah, inviting her back to your place was proooobably not the best choice unless he was totally committed to keeping his composure about the whole thing. I wonder if they could find any rental studios? Or maybe a music shop willing to let them practice in a back room? Weird as it is, my school's high school band actually swung a deal with the nearby church to use one of their chorus rooms during off hours (because they already had speakers and equipment.)
