It works pretty well as an ending but I agree with your own worries and kaze's comment. Stan went through some amazing development but he hasn't yet shown it by changing the ways of living his life.
Also, if we're looking from the perspective of the contest, I don't think the current amount of romance in this story qualifies as wholesome so if you care about making it to finals you might want to consider Kiri and Stan getting back together and finally having that kiss.
I feel like you could use an epilogue like kaze suggested. A timeskip, maybe after Stan graduates, might work here. He visits Kiri again, we learn about the developments between Abigail and John (if there are any lol) and I guess Kiri might also have changed a little, trying to be less of a drifter perhaps? Idk, just my spontaneous ideas. Hope I could help 😅
