I'm just gonna paste the answer I gave to kaze below, they asked the same thing.
"I bold anything that someone other than Keiichi says. Do you think it's a bad move?
It's my first time writing a 1st person perspective and I sorta found it difficult to distinguish between Keiichi's dialogues and those of others when using standard text for both. I mean, Keiichi is using lots of internal monologues as well (in italics, though sometimes it blends into his narration too).
Strictly speaking, yes I am trying to make it easier to tell that Keiichi hears someone else talk but, if it turns out to bother people, I can change it in my final edit, no problem."
