Starting off with a one year timeskip, and Samuel's running away. Well, at least it wasn't on Yalda's birthday. Based on the synopsis and cover, it appears like this novel is going to introduce more characters into the story. I'm looking forward to that.

I really enjoyed reading this. Seeing things from Yalda's perspective is truly the thing I enjoyed most about this. As a prologue for the series, this did everything needed to get me hooked. There was good world building and lots of mysteries introduced. Looking forward to reading the next novel in the series.

Looks like Yalda beat the gold Ganon hands and escaped the void. Now she's got a new power. This really does remind me of Byleth escaping Zaharas in Fire Emblem Three Houses. Though I guess Yalda's hair didn't turn green.😆
Wonder how things will go with Anima. Though talk about a journey. This all started as a quest to get some berries, now Yalda's escaping voids and gaining power ups.

The drugs the demon queen cult uses are essentially heavily modified weed. However, there are also nano machines in it that cause the cult to act like a hive mind. It's also how the cult's leader can control every single member. I actually have plans do delve into the backstory of the cult in another novel, and possibly have them be the central antagonists in another. For this novel, they'll mainly be minor antagonists in the grand scheme of things, though they might possibly have a major role in a few chapters and in a future arc.

Thanks. I sometimes wonder if I'm either not being descriptive enough or too descriptive. I'm glad you were able to get a clear picture of her setup.

Leona basically spent all her savings on getting the best quality setup. Money management is quite her strong suit, but since she had a large amount of savings, she was able to scrape by up till now. Though with her new editor, Leona's likely to be getting more exposure and thus make more money off her videos.
