Author's Commentary #579:

Time to talk about Chapter 579: When the lights come back on.
And here's Miga's side of the story. As previously mentioned, I was originally going to have this game occur first, and frame things in a way of making readers think Mimoko had actually lost. However, I felt that if I did that, it would ruin the tension and atmosphere I had going in the commentator's booth for Mimoko's match. Thus, the two were swapped.

The game also had some minor revisions as originally, I was going to have Miga play someone else, but ended up going with Ina, as I wanted her to play in a game. This game was played against Chess.com's 2000-rated level 16 engine bot, which is why it played better than Mimoko's opponent.
