For some reason, the formatting at the start makes the text look normal, but then it goes back to how it normally is. You mentioned that you copy/paste from google docs, is it via ctrl+v or right-clicking and selecting "paste"? I always employ the latter as I've found the former results in formatting issues.

The first thing that caught me off guard was the formatting. Maybe it's the single-spacing, but it feels like the text is smaller than normal. That being said, things do look neat and orderly. I'll probably get used to it the more I read.

Though I do think you have the text message format down well, I'd advise against overusing it as overabundance of it can have a negative effect on the reading experience.

I applaud you for going at it with the text message segment. That's not an easy format to get down as it can feel jarring to see the sudden shift in format. That being said, you might want to better illustrate the transition to the texting as all you do before humping into it is have the line saying, "That night, sleep wouldn't come" followed by the "___". Perhaps revising the sentence to "That night, sleep wouldn't come, so I reached for my phone" or something of a similar vain, would make the transition seem more fluid.

Thanks for the catch. The "pf" should be "of". Must've been a mistype. I'm glad you like how descriptive I am for the games. It's my philosophy that if you're going to show a chess game, every move needs to be documented in some form since any one move could change the course of the game. As such, it's important that everything flows fluidly so readers can follow along. If you catch any typos or errors in future games, feel free to let me know as I'll fix those as fast as I can.

Author's Commentary #626:

Time to talk about Chapter 626: Spotlight #11: Fleur.
I feel like there's a good chance I'll cover all the French SPCMs, or at least all the ones revealed, in this first batch of spotlights. Fleur was on the docket for a while, largely due to her Kirikawa lineage.

I haven't really thought up much for her character aside from the basics, so she always feels more on the underdeveloped side in my mind. She's not going to be as prominent as Ina or Miga either contributing to the mentality. Nonetheless, she is somewhat relevant due to her connection to major characters.
