We don't talk about no rental girlfriends round these parts, specially ones named Chizuru and simps named Kazuya. I'm not kidding when I say I am not a big fan of the series, heck I even named two asshole characters in another work Kazuya. In terms of the relationship here, I'm hoping to try and pull off something special. I'll acknowledge some might feel it feels too perfect, but perfection will be a theme or rather a frequent point brought up in-story. And who says everything will be smooth? These two were out in public so someone might've snapped a picture or two of them.

Author's Commentary #628:

Time to talk about Chapter 628: Spotlight #13: Gorana.
Since she now debuts in Season 1, I wanted to have Gorana's spotlight be in this first batch of character spotlights. It took me a while, but I finally got it done.

This woman is the anti-Pinocchio, highlighting the faults in perfect honesty. That being said, she's not the type that just tells you everything that's on her mind. There are some opinions she will keep to herself, usually minor ones as she herself is aware people don't like you spilling your thoughts 24/7. When prompted though, she'll either give a straight answer or bite her lip hard, depending on how major the question is. Major things she'll always give her thoughts on, but it's the minor stuff she restrains herself on.

The chessboard is the one place where she'll always bottle in her thoughts successfully as should one reveal what they're thinking, their opponent will take advantage of it. Should one ask her what she's planning during a chess game or in preparation for one, this will be the notable occasion where she will refuse to reveal the truth.

Oh yeah, the text doesn't look smaller anymore. I've actually been playing around a bit and found that you can copy/paste in large fonts into Honeyfeed. In fact, if you copy/paste say a Wikipedia article header, the text won't scale down to match the rest of the text. The solution I've found is to first copy/paste in notepad, than copy/paste that to Honeyfeed, as notepad pretty much removes all font discrepancies. I hope this helps.

As for the yowie word play, I was actually considering just calling this the yaoi yowie, but I felt some might take it as false advertising as the core of the story isn't BL. Time to talk about Chapter 627: Spotlight #12: Filipa.
If I do Fifi, I need to do Filipa. I'm really going all in on the Filipa and Fifi thing.

Believe it or not, I did originally intend for the two to finally meet face-to-face, in which the rivalry would only intensify as Filipa would blame Fifi for all the gossip she's had to endure due to her similar looks. Fifi meanwhile is too focused on her career to let the rumors truly get to her.

This game was actually the original and with the Hagemi game being modified from this one. I felt it would be poetic for Gyro to be faced with a similar opening and take a different path, only to end up at the same result. As for the length, early 2024 me was a different beast. Back then, game length wasn't an issue, but as the series went on, I began opting for shorter games. Aging really can be a bother. 😆
