Holy stromboli, that was a lot more than I was expecting. I forgot how crazy insightful you are.
Although I can't agree with your statement that twelve year olds saying that stuff is ridiculous. After all, I said similar things at a younger age. For whatever reason, I wanted to be a villain and adjusted my rhetoric accordingly. As you could imagine, I was a strange child.
I guess I'll have to go watch Evangellion now to understand the comparison. Wait. Is Evangellion the anime (I assume it's anime) or just a character?
Eh, I don't think female characters are all that difficult. Just make people who happen to be female. Sure, some nuance things might be off, but I'm sure no one will notice. I mean, it's not like women on the internet are real. Some of us just pretend to be women to get free stuff from people who don't know better.
On a less incelly note, I agree that writing unfamiliar characters is incredibly rewarding. Both from an experience perspective and general perspective. Still have to give props to people who manage to write an enjoyable character that I completely disagree with but still enjoy. Kinda like Thee Scarlet Scourge from a little novel called UnderCurrent. That woman has absolutely no right to be as enjoyable as she is. I think it's the eyepatch. Eyepatch hard carry.
