Just because of this chapter's title, I envision Angry Bert's as being an edgy McDonald's with sharp decor and thick eyebrows as part of the employees' uniform. It also made me smile because there's a small diner a couple towns over from my old hometown called Bert's, but it was certainly not angry.
I digress. On several occasions, I've stumbled haphazardly upon old notes for stories I've made significant progress on, only to find that I'd strayed from them. Oddly enough, most of these notes are in the same living document that I'd frequently reference while writing a particular story. Makes me wonder ....
On a most random side note, I recall you telling me how my three-dot ellipses don't require the fourth dot (the period). This has been a major bugbear for me. XD In my futile pursuit of self-educating myself of the most trivial grammatical nuances, I learned that the "proper" way to use ellipses was to separate the dots from the surrounding words ... like this. However, as I apparently had learned, if used at the end of a sentence, a period needed to be added .... This was news to me, and I never see anyone use these rules, and I've started to doubt this tactic for myself. This was the "real" rule for "American legal documents". Since American English is skewed to sh*t anyway, it makes me wonder if it's different for your region? Just a very random curiosity! :)
