It's a me. I'm an aspiring light novel writer hoping to one day see my works in anime form. I hope that my works at least brighten up your day and give you something to look forward to.

Props to Merek for handling the PR. Sometimes you just have to choose what information you share for the greater good of society. Though him calling Yalda immediately after the speech and Yalda making that remark about how politicians were untrustworthy was hilarious.
Yalda finally learns to fly and saves the day with Stardust Nova, but it looks like there's still a few more chapters. I wonder how things will wrap up.
Uncle Mel for the win. And now Mella has a new nickname. I wonder if Mel's name is actually short for a longer name like Melvin.🤔
Oof! Once again, Yalda's too out of power to finish off the fight. Welp, guess 3rd time will hopefully be the charm.😆
Very creative way for Yalda to win... phase one of the fight. Looks like phase 2 will be even harder now that she's only at 3%.
Well that was an eventful chapter. People turning into skeletons, everyone fighting each other, and Yalda unlocking a new power to save everyone. Looks like the final battle is close at hand.
Yalda's starting to see the harsh reality of the world. She can't save everyone and will sadly need to learn to accept it.

Thanks for checking this out. I played chess back in the day so I have some knowledge on it. The game featured in this chapter drew heavily from the Gunnar Gunderson vs A H Faul game due to said game featuring an en passant checkmate. There are plenty of other crazy chess games to come, so I hope you enjoy reading this series.
Author's note: I've updated all the game notations so they're easier to read and also now have them state which player is playing what as well as the player's rating. If a player has a (n/a) rating, it means they have no rating and are not a WWCF member, while an (unrated) rating means they are a WWCF member that has yet to get a proper rating.

Get a read on your opponent, and you can predict how they'll play. Okisato is pretty good at this in regards to players less skilled than him. However, there are some players he's unable to get a good read on, like Mimoko. Thus, the only way for him to stand a chance against geniuses like her is to make crazy plays in hopes of getting a win.

Did not expect a city tour, but glad we got it in addition to Yalda reuniting with her uncle.

Just the thought of writing a 3D chess scene makes my head hurt. The stuff I've already written along with the future ideas I have are already hard enough. Even the normal games can take hours to write because I don't want certain characters to lose by making a blunder.😅
It really does strain the mind. I feel like I'm doing more thinking coming up with what moves they should make compared to when I actually played chess back in the day.😆 P.S. Congratulations on getting gold.

It's insanely rare to pull off too. As mentioned in a previous comment, the game played in this chapter drew heavily from the Gunnar Gundersen vs A H Faul chess game and the odds of winning by one are 1 in 200,000 games according to chess.com.

Added some art of the villains as well as a bio for Gyro to the gallery. Feel free to check them out.
