It was a fun read~ A lot of associations connected between characters very naturally. The dialogue presented here is easily one of my faves thus far.

There is certainly an interesting premise here only held back by the things aforementioned by WALKER. I can see the intent you had writing this out which I can admire. Hiwever, the flashbacks feels jarring, perhaps too many at once for the reader to follow. That or having those flashbacks transition better would lend well. Reading a novel and watching an anime involve slightly different processes. The writing is another caveat which I can forgive; Its very... stilted in its expression but I can still discern what's being said.

To be frank I'll give it a few more chapters for a fair shake. 😀

It is. This is seperate from the other actually. The rules only state that they can't be an entry from last year, so By The Shores of Time is both a no and couldn't because its not within the genre.

Although Enne did get a slight redesign recently, which is described. The cover is meant for a short story collection that covers different genres. I have a short story included in The Guardian of Hope based on the windigo.

And... eh, don't hold your breath on those bandits though. xD

This chapter was pretty enjoyable, albeit it suffers from moments of "telling instead of showing." And remember, internal dialogues don't typically require quotation marks. Otherwise, I like the confrontation.
