There's certainly an interesting premise here. However, there are a few caveats that kinda holds it back; The names associated with the characters are fine and all, but it drones a bit when one continues reading it.
The being, God, the god, etc... Not to mention the associated pronouns are inconsistent, especially with God; Is the character an "it" or "he"?
While the rest reads fine, there's something missing... I'll read a little further for a fair shake.
