I resonated with Gin at the very beginning of the chapter. School doesn't define people in the end. All in all, it's just a system in our road to becoming better human beings, just depends if people take what they learn or leave it.
Now, this chapter had a different atmosphere as well, reminded me of the tension present during Gin's stay inside The Room, however, this one has more peril and danger involved with what started with an "innocent prank". Gin's quick skills as well as the people of Anew could handle everything.
Gin's thought process was the best part. You see, it reminded me back when I was in secondary school, some stupid classmates broke an eraser and threw pieces of it inside our tutor's coffee. She almost died. Of course, no one was blamed for it. They also threw apples to the ceiling fans. People can be stupid and immature without looking at the bigger picture of what their actions can cause.
Another interesting detail was the purpose and reveal of what his different coloured eye means, as well as to see another person who has gone through a similar experience.
