Nailed it, it was Hinata! Her acting was top-notch the previous chapters that made it a red herring for me when it came down to her true personality. Seems she wants that "voice" Ryouta hears, which makes me believe he has an Alter Ego completely sealed off (as we have "heard" this voice during Miyuki's Arc) or a personality disorder he can control to some extent, which makes things even more interesting because: Why does Hinata insist on having "him" back? Why is she is pretty rotten on the inside and has to put up an act? When will she tumble down like a house of cards?
According to what Ryuuji said, she did hurt Ryouta before as I suspected, and it's an understandable concern. What intrigues me more though for now, is Futaba's attitude. I'm leaning into the fake relationship to get closer to Ryouta but at the same time, I doubt it to be true. It's a pretty big elaborate plan after all if that were the case. I mean, Ryouta has changed now, and the relationship could end at any minute. I'll keep on making theories about this, it can go many ways.
What happened at the end was really nice, it finally feels that the pieces are falling together to form this new arc, which after presenting the new cast that joins, will finally start, as well as presenting this new girl that wants to save Ai. But save her from what, exactly?
Amazing job as always, QI!
