So I'm guessing Rio is the girl on the cover of the novel?? Her description sounds pretty similar, so I'm guessing she'll play a pivotal part in the story! Yet another interesting character introduction:) Looking forward to seeing how this training will go!

Well I love Keenan. Definitely want to learn more about him and these manufactured humans. I really like his description in that his eyes are like mercury—a really neat detail! I really hope they continue pranking Peterson throughout the story because that would be a great ongoing joke😂
Ahh thanks for appreciating her cold, shriveled heart!😂 I was hoping that would be an interesting little tidbit to learn about her. I personally love morally gray characters:) I’m so glad the writing looks good to you. I reread it before posting, but sometimes there are errors I don’t catch🤪

The next chapter is in progress! I'm leaning more towards world building for the first several chapters, but there should be lots of action in the immediate future😊

I was going for serious undertones, but I'm so accustomed to writing comedy at this point I guess it kind of just leaked through!😅 I typically write the sarcastic hero, but I hope any comedy doesn't affect the overall tone of the story! I hope you enjoy future chapters:)

I’m trying to slowly show Pyro’s abilities rather than just tell them all:) I hope it makes it more engaging. Joseph definitely has some fatal flaws, but we’ll just have to see if he develops or if Pyro will finally lose her last straw🙃 Thanks for the feedback!

K, so Aiko is officially my favorite. I like how brusque she is, and her interactions with Peterson are the best😜 Also, I want to be telepathically linked to a panther!
I'd be pissed if that happened to me. Especially if I was going all out with a bath bomb and everything😩

Oh God, this isn't going to go well. She's either gonna beat his ass, or something unexpected is going to happen. Either way, I'm here for the ride!😋 Maybe we'll see some of that ninjutsu come into play haha.
I was going to forgo using brand names, but I figured this was my story so why not😂 I haven't decided if this is supposed to be the future or an alternative dimension. I'm leaning towards the former until I further flesh out the story. Thank you for your kind words! Bad grammar is one of my pet peeves, so I always try my best😅
