Honestly, it's not the contest's fault I couldn't put enough words; it was mine.
At first, I settled to write somewhere below two thousand words per chapter, not below 1,500, but in the last three chapters, I realized I had more content to write that I couldn't now fit because of my chapter naming scheme.
I considered transferring some paragraphs from one chapter to another----domino effect----but I figured it was too tricky and challenging, so I forced by myself to lengthen the last chapters, cramming all I could.
Alas, I couldn't do what I originally wanted to do, like the 'Dinnerplate' code.
I know this comment devalues my story and writing capabilities a bit, but I felt responsible, so I had to tell you.
As for the ending, I intended it to be abrupt----ending it with Chinatsu's dialogue. But I failed to clearly conclude the FieldCamp event, resulting in a more abrupt and rushed ending.
Anyways, I still thank you for reading!
