Inb4 the counsellor is a messenger from the Goddess or something! Hmm I do agree with a comment below tho, we know he is traumatized and I'm pretty sure you will expand this huge lore you presented us at the start, really piqued my interest. Of course, focusing too much on that will take away the point of him re-adjusting to life. Right now, he barely has time to even **think** about the other world since things are coming to Jirou left and right, from his "family", from his "friends", from his "teachers". I want to have this wishful thinking that the girl is one of his old teammates reincarnated or something, but perhaps I'm looking too much into it. Another thing I quite enjoyed was his little detour and how he was fascinated as if he had actually been thrown to another new world when it was his own home world.
